Pause to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we share in together as the body of Christ at Sunday morning worship Gatherings.
COMMITMENT
Congregation: Since God chose us to be the holy people he loves, we must clothe ourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Making allowance for each other’s faults, and forgiving anyone who offends us.
Remember, the Lord forgave us, so we also must forgive others.
Above all, may we clothe ourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts. For as members of one body we are called to live in peace and always be thankful.
Leader: Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill our lives. Teaching and counseling each other with all the wisdom he gives. Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
Congregation: And whatever we do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
