West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - March 22,
2026
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CONFESSION/ASSURANCE
Leader: We trust in Jesus Christ, fully human, fully God. Jesus proclaimed the reign of God:
Congregation: He preached good news to the poor and release to the captives, teaching by word and deed and blessing the children, healing the sick and binding up the brokenhearted, eating with outcasts, forgiving sinners, and calling all to repent and believe the gospel.
Leader: Lord, we turn to you today in repentance and faith. Holy Spirit, transform our hearts that we might imitate our Savior Jesus.

COMMITMENT
Leader: The message of truth we believe and communicate to the world is not about ourselves, but about Jesus Christ.
Congregation: Let us commit to be God's messengers, allowing him to fill our lives with his light. Let us commit to spend our days gazing at Christ, who is the perfect image of God. Let us commit to allow the Holy Spirit to transform us into the image of Christ. And let us commit to take the message of mercy to a world in need.

BENEDICTION
Leader: May your lives fill up with the light of mercy and truth as you reflect Christ in you, the hope of glory. May you see God in the face of Christ, who is the best picture of God we'll ever get. Peace be with you!
Congregation: And also with you!
