West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - March 15,
2026
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Let us worship God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ.
Congregation: We are new creations; the old has gone, the new has come!
Leader: Let us worship God as Christ’s ambassadors.
Congregation: Through us and through our worship may we announce the good news to all. Let us worship God in spirit and in truth. Praise God! We are reconciled, redeemed, renewed!
- Based on John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

CONFESSION/ASSURANCE
Leader: Through God's law, we become aware of our sin. Through God's law, we become aware that we are powerless to save ourselves.
Congregation: But what the law was powerless to do was save us. Thanks be to God, who sent his own son in our likeness so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled through him.
Leader: Let us look to Jesus, confessing our sin and receiving his covering of grace. He will not forsake us but will restore us.

COMMITMENT
Leader: Lord, your word today told us that when we turn to you, you remove the veil over our hearts that keeps us from seeing you as clearly as we ought to.
Congregation: When we turn to you, your Spirit removes the veil so that we can behold your glory. When we turn to you, you transform us more fully into your image. Help us to never take this grace for granted. Help us fix our gaze on you.

BENEDICTION
Leader: May you go from here in the righteousness and life that the Spirit gives as he transforms you from glory to glory. May you celebrate the freedom that comes from walking with Christ. Peace be with you!
Congregation: And also with you!
