12.7.25 - West Sunday Gathering Liturgy

Leader: In The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

Congregation: Jesus Christ is our life and light. In his name and in his power, let us worship God!

Leader: We are often prone to forget the goodness of God to us. We don't always have eyes to see his faithful love in our lives.

Congregation: Lord, grant that we, with your servant Mary, can say that you who are mighty have done great things for us. Your name is holy, and your mercy is on those who reverence you. Thank you that you satisfy us with good things. Our spirits rejoice with you our Savior. 

Leader: Everlasting God, your Son is the light of the world. Your Son is the way, the truth and the life.

Congregation: Lead us by your light and truth. Looking for Jesus, let us find him. Looked for by Jesus, we are found. Amen.

Leader: As you look toward the coming of our Savior, may you, like Mary, rejoice in God's goodness and in his everlasting, faithful love this week. Peace be with you.

Congregation: And also with you!
