11.30.25 - West Sunday Gathering Liturgy

West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - November 30,
 2025

Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.

CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader: Lord, we long for the coming of Christ. In our worship today we yearn for your Spirit to give us a glimpse of your glory,

Congregation: that one day we will see in full, when all will be made new, through Christ, our Lord. Amen

CONFESSION/ASSURANCE

Leader: Lord, we confess that we do not always keep you at the center of our lives and hearts. As we enter the Advent season, help us give you our highest worship.

Congregation: In this time of busyness and distraction, may we long for the Infant King. Emmanuel, come and be with us at this time and always. Amen.

COMMITMENT

Leader: God of the church, your Son prayed that we might be one - the one body of Christ throughout the whole world.

Congregation: Fill us with your love, we pray, that we may be brought to complete unity, so all may know you sent Christ, and that you have loved us even as you loved Christ. We long to see your glory in the church. Amen.

BENEDICTION

Leader: In this season of expectation, may you remember that God often fulfills his promises in unexpected ways. Like our Savior who came into the world as a helpless baby, the ways of God are sometimes surprising but always perfect. Peace be with you!

Congregation: And also with you!

Sunday's music:
