West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - September 14,
2025
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: As we gather this morning, let us fix our hearts and minds on God, asking him to gather our wandering hearts and to seal them for himself.
Congregation: In Christ we are new creations. Let us worship him in spirit and truth today, inviting his Spirit to renew our minds and hearts. We thank God for his grace that trains us to renounce ungodliness and to live self-controlled and godly lives today.

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: Church, let us hold fast to the Lord, who daily renews our minds and hearts. "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)
Congregation: When we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we are saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
- Romans 10:9-10

COMMITMENT
Congregation: Lord, we thank you that you do not leave us as we are but that you sanctify us every day through the power of your Spirit. We ask you to transform us by the renewing of our minds. Be our wisdom, our truest Word, our light in dark places. Help us fix our gaze on you and live for you every day. Amen.
BENEDICTION
Leader: Beloved of God, Go now as disciples who are devoted to learning the heart of Jesus. In the midst of a noisy world, may the Spirit quiet your soul to hear His voice. May His Word shape your thoughts, renew your mind, and transform your life. And as you learn His ways, may you walk in them, living as citizens of His kingdom, reflecting His truth and His love wherever you go. Go in the grace and peace of Christ. Peace be with you.
Congregation: And also with you!
