CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Come, behold the Man of Sorrows— the Lamb who bore our shame, the King crowned with thorns, pierced for our transgressions, laid in a borrowed tomb. Even in death, He showed glory. Even in burial, He fulfilled redemption.
Congregation: We come to worship the Christ who suffered, died, and was buried— and who sees every wound, every limitation, every need. He is worthy of our praise.

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: Jesus was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Too often, we reject what we do not understand. We ignore what makes us uncomfortable. We look past those You call precious.
Congregation: Forgive us, Lord. Have mercy on us.
Leader: You bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we held You at arm’s length. We confess our pride, our impatience with weakness, and our failure to love as You have loved us.
Congregation: Forgive us, Lord. Have mercy on us.
Leader: You chose suffering that we might be healed. You entered death to bring us life. You were buried— so that even our lowest places are not beyond Your reach.
Congregation: Lord, remember us in Your mercy. Restore us by Your grace. Renew us in Your love. Amen.
