West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - February 16th,

Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Jesus tells us, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.” But His glory is not found in earthly power or success. Instead, He shows us a different way—the way of surrender, the way of the cross, the way of true life found in laying our own lives down.
Congregation: We come to behold His glory and to be shaped by His love, that our lives may reflect His light.
Leader: As we sing together this morning, let this be our prayer: That our hearts would be drawn closer and closer to Jesus, that our lives would be fully surrendered to Him, and that we would daily walk in His light.
Congregation: Let’s worship the King who gave everything so we might have eternal life. Amen

Leader: Lord, we confess that we often walk in darkness when You have called us into light.
Congregation: We cling to our own selfish ways instead of surrendering fully to Yours.
Leader: We seek comfort in the world instead of finding our rest in You.
Congregation: Forgive us, Lord. Draw us into a more intimate relationship with you. One where we come to you in our greatest time of need. Help us to let go of all that keeps us from fully following You.

COMMITMENT
Congregation: Lord, apart from You, we have nothing. You alone are our life, our joy, and our greatest treasure. The world promises security in power, status, and self-reliance. But Christ calls us to something much greater—an eternal hope that does not fade, and a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
Leader: Jesus, You are our living hope, our firm foundation. In You, we place our trust.
Congregation: So let us go where He leads, walking in the light that he shines on our lives, and proclaim that Christ is enough. All we have, all we are, we give to You. Our lives are Yours, now and forever. Amen
