West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - February 9th,
2025
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Church, each week we begin our time together by reading from the Psalms. In this we are lifting our voices to join the Church across generations in thanksgiving, lament, and praise.
These are prayers and songs of God’s people that remind us of His faithfulness, His love, and His power to meet us right where we are. Whether you’re coming today to celebrate, to seek, or to simply be still, these words are for all of us.
Let us open our hearts to hear from God together.
Congregation: Lord, we join the chorus of your people through the ages. Let these words shape our worship, renew our hearts, and remind us of Your faithfulness.
Psalm 118

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Congregation: I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord," and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Blessed be God, who has given heed to the words of my prayer.

COMMITMENT
Leader: God, from the time of the Israelites until now, you have never stopped making a way for your people to be with you. God, we are in awe of your constant love. We are in awe that we are able to come into your presence.
Congregation: God, give us hearts that continually turn to you and long for your presence. Help us love you because we delight in you, as you delight in us. Help us show the world what you are like, and make us a people who reflect your love to those who need your presence.

BENEDICTION
