Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: Oh God, in gracious love You promise to care for us and all of the earth; in steadfast love You keep Your promise.
Congregation: But we, who so quickly embrace Your covenant, just as quickly betray it; instead of honoring and loving You, we too often offer only contempt.
Leader: We ask that in our sin and disregard of Your promises, You would remind us of Your never-ending love and faithfulness.
Congregation: Reveal to us, through Your Holy Spirit, Your grace that redeems us and cause us to have faith in Your promise to restore us through the work of Jesus Christ. Amen.

COMMITMENT
Leader: God and Father of Jesus, You have sent Your Son to be our Savior: our light in the midst of darkness, our rescue from the raging floods, our hope in the face of threats, our peace amid turmoil.
Congregation: We praise You for salvation!
Leader: Send us forth from this gathering with a renewed awakening to the Glory of Christ and with a renewed passion to declare and demonstrate Christ’s love and mercy to the world around us.
Congregation: Cause us to trust and worship Him with all that we do, that we may live for Your glory. This we ask in the name of Jesus, the Lord. Amen.

BENEDICTION
Leader: As you go from here, remember the promise of God: “I will rescue those who love me, I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.” So go from here with joy, confident that the love and mercy of God goes with you. Peace be with you.
