CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: L: Blessed are you, sovereign Lord, just and true: to you be praise and glory for ever. May we your servants rejoice in Jesus’ light, and so be led to witness to him who is the Lord of our coming kingdom, Jesus our Saviour and King of the ages.
Congregation: Lord Jesus, light of the world, as Christmas grows closer day by day, help us to be ready to welcome you now. Be born in our hearts at Christmas, be King of our lives today. Amen.

COMMITMENT
Congregation: God of Jesus Christ, give us a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Christ, so that the eyes of our hearts might be enlightened. Help us to know the hope to which you have called us, the riches of the glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of your power at work in us. Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
BENEDICTION

make us worthy of a place in his kingdom.
May God the Son, coming among us in power,
reveal in our midst the promise of his glory.
May God the Holy Spirit make us steadfast in faith,
joyful in hope and constant in love.
As we await our coming Saviour,
