Short North Sunday Gathering Liturgy - September 29
2024
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Come and sing to the LORD! Make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Come into his presence with thanksgiving and gratitude. Lift up a joyful sound to him with songs of praise!
Congregation: For the LORD is a great God! He is the great King above all others.
- Based on Psalm 95:1-3

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: For the brokenness and pain that we experience and lament in this world and in our hearts…
Congregation: ...May the healing power of your kingdom come and restore.
Leader: For the sin in our hearts and lives - for our words, actions, and motives that have not honored you…
Congregation: …We plead the power of your cross, Jesus, to provide the assurance of sins forgiven through your grace and mercy. ...may the healing power of your kingdom come and restore.
Leader: For the selfish ways we use your good gifts and blessings…
Congregation: ...May your Spirit lead us to repentance and empower us to use all we have for your kingdom and glory.
Holy Spirit, lead us to a deeper awareness of your presence and a firm hope that, one day soon, all will be made well and fully restored through the power and promises of Jesus!
