CONFESSION
Congregation: Almighty and merciful God, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep.
Leader: We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.
We have sought solace in things of this world and not in the shadow of your wings.
Congregation: Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

COMMITMENT
The nature of Jesus is expressed beautifully in the first book of John. Let’s walk through these words together, and be reminded of the truth of Jesus together as we worship.
Leader: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
Congregation: All things were made through him,and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Leader: The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Congregation: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we seen have his glory, from the Father, full of grace and truth.
