Tri-City Sunday Gathering Liturgy - May 26, 2024
Pause in the middle of your week to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
PRAYER OF ADORATION
Leader: God, our Creator, from nothing, you made our world.
Congregation: You formed us, love us, and give us all that we need
Leader: God, our Redeemer, you rescued us from sin.
Congregation: You have given us new life and hope of healing to the world.
Leader: God, our Comforter, you are with us always.
Congregation: You comfort us, renew us, and guide us into your truth
Leader: Almighty God, for your gracious love for us, we praise you.
Congregation: Amen.
The Profit Isaiah reminds us, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that He might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in His salvation.
Isaiah 25:9

CALL TO CONFESSION
For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength...”
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore He exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are those who wait for him.”
Isaiah 30:15, 18
PRAYER
Merciful God, I admit that I have sinned against you in my thoughts, words, and actions—both in what I have done and what I have failed to do. I haven't loved you with all my heart, mind, and strength. I haven't loved my neighbors as myself.
In your mercy, forgive, and guide me so I may find joy in your will and walk in your ways, bringing glory to Your holy name. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

COMMITMENT
Leader: Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Congregation: We commit to offering our lives as living sacrifices, dedicated and pleasing to God.
Leader: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Congregation: We commit to being transformed by the renewal of our minds through God's Word and Spirit.
Leader: Let us embrace our new lives given to us through Jesus Christ.
Congregation: We commit to encouraging and uplifting one another as we grow in our faith and follow Jesus. Amen.

BENEDICTION
Leader: TDear brothers and sisters, as we go forth from this place, may the God of hope fill you with joy and peace. May your hearts be steadfast in trusting Him, and may the Holy Spirit empower you to spread hope to all you encounter.
Go in peace, filled with the joy of the Lord, trusting in His promises, and overflowing with the hope that only He can give. Peace be with you!
Congregation: And also with you.
