Tri-City Sunday Gathering Liturgy - May 12, 2024
Pause in the middle of your week to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Join me in renewing our commitment to behold and worship our God, not merely out of duty but because He is the anchor of our souls, the fountain of our joy, and the sustainer of our lives. Like the Israelites sustained by manna in the wilderness, we are nourished daily by God's provisions. So, in gratitude and adoration, may we declare our trust in His unfailing goodness and grace.
“But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
- Psalm 81
Congregation: Satisfy us with Your goodness, O Lord. You are our Rock and our Redeemer!

CALL TO CONFESSION
Brothers and sisters, let us humbly acknowledge the greatness of our God. Recently, we have witnessed the awe-inspiring beauty of the northern lights, a breathtaking display of God's artistic handiwork in the skies.
We've also been shielded from harm during extreme storms, as alarms sounded and
warnings blared, yet no harm came to us by His grace. We marveled as the moon covered the sun in a solar eclipse, revealing the power of light even in the midst of darkness.
Despite experiencing these wonders, we often fail to trust in God's provision and sovereignty fully. In pride or shame, we neglect to trust in God for help, relying instead on our strength and understanding.
Yet, He is the God who controls the heavens and the earth, who orchestrates the movements of the stars and the storms far beyond our comprehension.
May we, in repentance, acknowledge our need for His mercy and forgiveness. May we turn to Him with humble hearts, seeking His guidance and grace.
