03 - The Rhythm of Service with Seth Flores and Amy Gingerich

Sep 23, 2025    Ryan Hennigan, Michael Bashaw

We serve because we're made in the image of God who serves! If this is true, what does it look like in our daily lives? In our families? In our city?

In this week’s episode of the Voices of Veritas podcast, members Seth Flores and Amy Gingerich share their own stories—from serving within their families and church to loving their city—and for the ways God has revealed more of his heart to them through it all.

Amy is a member at Veritas Short North and currently serves as a Short North Deacon of Mercy & Justice. Seth is a member at Tri-City, Elder candidate, and as a Chick-fil-a employee, loves talking all things service!

At Veritas, we've identified five rhythms encompass the ways Jesus transforms our whole lives to live in light of who we are in the gospel. They define what it looks like to follow after Jesus and live how he lived!

They become our way of life together as a church and as disciples of Jesus; a Spirit-empowered means of grace that form us to know and love Jesus as we become more like him and join his kingdom work in the world.

We're spending the first five episodes of the podcast talking about through each of Veritas' five rhythms: worship, community, service, learning, and mission.
