1. How are you like the rebellious Israelites?

2. Most of us don’t like when our plans are opposed. How do you react when others rebel against what you’ve planned?

3. How does God respond when his people rebel?

4. Why does God show grace to Israel? To us?

5. The ultimate end of God’s grace is the multiplication of God’s glory. Is this difficult for you to accept? Why or why not?

6. God is all about his own glory. How is this truth good news for us?

7. The defeat of God’s grace toward sinners would be the defeat of God. How would believing this truth day in and day out change your life?

8. Do you believe that your highest profit is gaining Christ? What lies and idols keep you from believing this truth?

9. What/who’s glory are you declaring through your life?

10. How does Isaiah 48 change how you think about God’s redemptive plan?
