2.15.26 - West Sunday Gathering Liturgy

Leader: It is good to praise the Lord and to make music to your name, O Most High. Your constant love reaches to the heavens, and your faithfulness extends to the skies. You make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; You are exalted forever.

Leader: Jesus, you are our example of love and forgiveness. You receive us with love and mercy when we turn to you. Yet so often we fail to offer your love and forgiveness to those around us.

Congregation: Help us love others as you have loved us. Help us forgive others as you have forgiven us. Let us not keep the gift of forgiveness to ourselves. Open our hearts to those we have closed ourselves off from. Teach us to love as you love.

Leader: God of compassion, through your Son, Jesus Christ, you reconciled your people to yourself.

Congregation: Following his example of love and forgiveness, may we obey you with willing hearts and serve one another in holy love through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Leader: Brothers and sisters, let us claim the freedom Christ gives us by his self-giving on the cross. May he enable you to serve together in faith, hope, and love. Go in peace and serve the Lord. Peace be with you!
