Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: God calls us to belong to something so much bigger than ourselves. His Bride, the church, exists to give him glory and give us a place to worship him together.
Congregation: May all who come to worship today sense that the gospel of Christ is so much bigger than us. May the Lord draw each one of us into unity with himself and with each other as we worship him.

CONFESSION/ASSURANCE
Leader: God, through your gospel you have given us new life through your Son, Jesus. In that life, you have called us to unity with joy.
Congregation: We confess that too often we don't consider our brothers and sisters as highly as we consider ourselves. Too often we fail to seek the good of those around us.
Leader: We trade unity for division, peace for strife, and compassion for willful misunderstanding. We do not have joy because we do not have unity.
Congregation: God, forgive us for forgetting to live as you've called us to live. Restore us to the joy of our salvation, and help us love each other as you have loved us. Amen.

Cause us to be a people who encourage each other and hold each other accountable as we walk the path of faith together. We ask you to empower and refine us by your Holy Spirit so that our union with you will produce the fruit of joy. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
