CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: All who thirst, come to the water. Come, all who are weary; come, all who yearn for forgiveness.
Congregation: The Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ has washed over us, and our gracious God calls us to come. Let us worship the eternal God, our source of love and life.

CONFESSION/ASSURANCE
Leader: A reading from Psalm 118:
I called on the Lord in distress, and he answered me. Let those who fear the Lord now say, 'His mercy endures forever.'
Congregation: The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can anyone do to me? The Lord is on my side as my helper.
Leader: It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in people. All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I pushed them away.
Congregation: The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. I will praise you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.

COMMITMENT
Leader: God wants to meet with us, not just today in worship but every day of our lives. He continually draws us to himself and blesses us with his Spirit.
Congregation: Let us draw near to God in reverence and humility, knowing that he is faithful to complete the work he has started in us. Let us honor God with our lives, in grateful obedience and trust. As we begin another week of faithful living, let us remember that we have a Living Hope in Jesus.
