West Sunday Gathering Liturgy - March 9th,
2025
Carry Sunday with you into your week by pausing to reflect on the readings, prayers, and songs we shared in together as the body of Christ.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: We gather today not because life is without trouble, but because Jesus speaks peace into our troubled hearts. He lifts our eyes beyond what is fleeting and calls us to trust Him. So we ask—where is our hope?
Congregation: Our hope is in Christ, our anchor in the storm. So let us sing of the firm foundation on which we stand.

CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE
Leader: How often do we cling to what cannot hold us—our strength, our control, our understanding? But Christ calls us to rest, not in ourselves, but in Him.
Congregation: We bring our burdens before the Lord.
Leader: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Leader: Church, who is our refuge when we fall?
Congregation: Jesus, our Cornerstone.
Leader: And in Him, where do we stand?
Congregation: Secure, unshaken, and fully known. Not defined by our failures but by His grace. Amen

COMMITMENT
Leader: The battles we face are real—fear, doubt, suffering that threatens to shake us. But we do not stand alone.
Congregation: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear." (Psalm 46:1)
Leader: Who goes before us in every battle?
Congregation: The Lord, our Defender. In His presence, nothing can stand against us.
Leader: So we entrust ourselves to Him, the One who fights for us, the One who carries us through. And as we stand in His strength, let us sing of the foundation that cannot be shaken.

BENEDICTION
Leader: Church, go now with hearts untroubled, for Christ is your firm foundation. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—your hope in every storm, your anchor for all eternity. Would you walk in His peace all the days of your life. Peace be with you.
